This is how Disney workers drew Disney characters, like Aurora from Sleeping Beauty.
during my dissertation research I found out that Disney didn’t just use thin white ballet dancers as their models for princesses - at one point they also called in a two hundred pound African-American woman and asked her to dance so that they could work out how to draw the dancing hippo from Dance of the Hours in Fantasia.
not so nice and whimsical now, is it
OMG wow!!

on halloween this guy dressed up as aladdin and glued a carpet to his skaboard and made his way through the halls like this
I CAN SHOW YOU THE HAAAAAAAALL
SHINING SHIMMERING FLOORTILES
TELL ME STUDENTS
WHEN DID YOU LAST
LET YOUR HEARTS DECIDE
I CAN OPEN YOUR BOOKS
TAKE YOU CHAPTER BY CHAPTER
IN, BETWEEN CLASS AND AFTER
ON A MAGIC CARPET RIDE
A WHOLE NEW HAAAAAAAAAAAAAALL
A NEW FANTASTIC PLACE OF SCHOOL
TEACHERS WILL TELL US NO
AND WHERE TO GO
AND SAY WE’RE BEING SILLY
A WHOLE NEW HAAAAAALL
